Bob and his wife Sherry moved to the Johnson City area in 2019 specifically to attend JCAC. They have been involved in the Christian and Missionary Alliance since 1973, when a local Alliance pastor took the time to teach them the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ. Since then they have served in Alliance churches in several states. Bob has been an Elder or Pastor in six Alliance churches, located in Indiana, Kentucky (2), Pennsylvania, Florida, and now Tennessee. He believes a healthy, New Testament church will fulfill the Great Commission in all its ministries. Seeking the lost, praying for others, teaching and discipleship are prerequisites for a thriving church. Bob and Sherry have three children, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. One of the children, Amy, lives next door to them along with seven-year-old Emma. The other two children, Bob Jr. and Debbie, live in Florida and Kentucky, respectively. Bob's leisure time activities include leading Bible studies, hunting and target shooting, fishing, crosswords, and reading. Sherry keeps busy with sewing, cooking, baking, reading and women's Bible studies. They are very excited that the Lord called them to JCAC, and look forward to all He has planned for each of us in the coming days.
